ORCA, a leading bespoke engineering company specialising in commercial diving and hyperbaric systems, has strengthened its technical capability with three key appointments following a major project award.
Craig Livesey joins ORCA as Technical Director, bringing a wealth of experience from the commercial diving industry. Craig has been instrumental in delivering complex diving systems worldwide, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards.
Paul Cubbin has been appointed Pressure Vessel Design Engineer and will work alongside Craig from ORCA’s North West England base. Paul brings deep expertise in engineering design and development within the oil and gas sector, with a proven track record in driving product innovation from concept through to full-scale production.
James Gardner joins as Base Dive Technician, following extensive experience in onshore and offshore dive technician roles. Based at ORCA House in Aberdeen, Jamie will focus on manufacturing, maintenance, and certification of diving equipment, while supporting the mobilisation of client systems.

Its in-house team of mechanical and electrical specialists provides comprehensive services including recertification, design, installation, and refurbishment of both surface-supplied and saturation diving equipment.
