Light Trace

Orca has introduced Light Trace™, a new illuminated instrumentation system designed to modernise traditional diving and control panels. It brings enhanced visibility, safety and situational awareness to both air and saturation operations.

Engineered for the challenges of offshore, subsea and hyperbaric environments, Light Trace™ transforms analogue layouts into intelligent displays that deliver real-time visual feedback on pressure, flow and other critical parameters. By replacing inconsistent or difficult-to-read mechanical indicators with clear, colour-coded illumination, the system helps eliminate interpretation errors, particularly in low-light, emergency or restricted-access conditions.

At the heart of Light Trace™ is its browser-based configuration interface, allowing operators to view live data, calibrate sensors and adjust lighting from any laptop, tablet or mobile device. No proprietary software or specialised hardware is required, simplifying commissioning and streamlining ongoing maintenance routines.

The system’s customisable colours and layouts allow panels to be configured to suit operational preferences, safety protocols or vessel-specific standards. This flexibility enables rapid identification of system status at a glance, supporting quicker decision-making and reducing the risk of unnoticed faults.

Light Trace™ is designed for both retrofit and new-build applications, providing operators with an upgrade path that does not require full panel replacement. Whether integrated into a custom enclosure or mounted directly into existing control panels, the system adapts to a wide range of operational environments.
